So, we are fairly new to the West Palm Beach area and are tired of just hanging out with each other. Our lifelong BFFs live up north, so we are looking to meet and connect with some new cool people. I (the wife) am nearly 41 year old and am an educated professional caucasian (with no kids yet) who enjoys reading, Oprah, all things healthy, exercising (biking, walking, yoga, gym classes), dining, coffee, spas, cats, feeling good (in a spiritual sense), movies, Greece, vegetarianism, thrifting, beaches, and travelling. We are in the middle of infertility treatments, so we hope to add to our family within the year (so I welcome women who have children already). We are not against going out for drinks once our baby comes, but given that it's taken us a while to get pregnant, we won't jeapardize that in any way (so please no requests to go to bars right now). My husband is a 38 educated professional caucasian who enjoys scuba diving, playing blackjack, dining, boats/marinas, some sports, Bahamas, beaches, BBQing, and travelling as well. He is a slight couch potato (and suffers from gout attacks), but he isn't completely inactive and does really enjoy the outdoors. He hasn't been scuba diving in FL yet (due to the expense). He has a very entrepreneurial mind (and enjoys creating webpages and web businesses in his free time). We live in a gated community so haven't had the time to really meet people *our age* yet. Many things (including my intense new job, his intense new job search, our recent destination wedding, and travelling north to see family and friends) these past few years have chewed up all of our free time, so we haven't seen much of FL. Now that his parents have decided to move closer (and my mom will be visiting for a few months a year), we will have far less trips up north and much more free time. We have a few hectic weeks ahead (heading north to help my mom pack up and close on her house, and then a vacation in the Bahamas on the heals of that), so we are not looking to meet and start hanging until March. We also have 4 (and soon to be 5) cats at home, so if you are allergic to cats (or dislike them), it's probably not a good fit. (They are our *babies* as of now). We can hang out as a group, or individually (if your spouse doesn't seem to have much in common with my spouse) - we are both just looking to meet cool people.
